About the role#
We are looking for a Quality & Engineering Intern to join our team in San Clemente. This role provides hands-on experience in manufacturing and quality processes for industrial and aerospace production. You will work directly with our Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering, and Design teams to support daily operations and improvement initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Support quality assurance tasks including testing, inspection, and data collection.
- Review quality records, nonconformance reports, and corrective actions.
- Perform dimensional inspections and assist with measurement system activities.
- Help the engineering team with process validation, first article documentation, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects.
- Update work instructions, quality documents, and databases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on production tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program for Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or Aerospace Engineering.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Up to 2 years of experience through internships, lab work, or projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem solving.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work well with others.
- Familiarity with engineering principles or manufacturing concepts is helpful.
- Experience with CAD, metrology tools, or statistical analysis is a plus.

- This position is located in San Clemente, California.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship role.
- Employment requires status as a U.S. person as defined by ITAR regulations.
