About the role#
Irving Materials, Inc. is hiring interns for the Summer 2027 term. You will work within a specific business unit to gain hands-on experience in the wholesale building materials industry. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Fishers, Indiana.
What you'll do#
- Job shadow and work under direct supervision.
- Complete independent work tasks within your assigned department.
- Participate in company field trips to learn about different areas of the business.
- Develop a project proposal focused on a business improvement area.
- Present your project findings to a panel of company executives and leaders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary education program at an accredited institution.
- Completion of your sophomore year of college.
- At least one year of coursework related to your declared major in Business Administration.
- Reliable transportation to the office each day.
- A strong work ethic and the ability to commit to a daily, full-time schedule.
- Experience with Google Suite is helpful but not required.
