About the role#
The Tax Intern assists professional staff with the completion of tax returns during tax season. You will work under the supervision of managers, senior managers, or shareholders, and all of your work undergoes a review process before distribution.
What you'll do#
- Process tax organizers.
- Enter data into tax software.
- Review documents for completeness before they move to the next stage of review.
- Provide timely and professional service to clients.
- Complete other duties and activities as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accounting program or a related field at an accredited university.
- Strong computer skills, specifically with spreadsheets.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Knowledge of standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to work as a team member and follow close supervision.
- Previous public accounting or internship experience is preferred.
