About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in risk management, insurance, and business operations. You will support initiatives that improve risk visibility, insurance readiness, and compliance. The role involves analytical research, data management, and coordination with internal stakeholders. You will work on a specific project while contributing to broader team goals.
What you'll do#
- Research and compile risk exposure information for insurance policy renewals.
- Review, audit, and track Certificates of Insurance to ensure compliance.
- Maintain and update insurance policy databases.
- Collect, organize, and validate risk management data.
- Support the preparation, retention, and management of insurance documentation.
- Identify data gaps or process challenges and suggest solutions.
- Develop project timelines and provide progress updates.
- Present project outcomes to the team.
- Collaborate with peers, mentors, and cross-functional stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
- Interest in risk management, compliance, or finance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and take initiative.

- This is a remote, full-time position.
- The internship occurs during Summer 2027.
