About the role#
Justice Resource Institute offers a clinical internship for students pursuing a Master's degree or higher in the mental health field. This role focuses on supporting youth and families with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs. Interns work within the Community Based Services division to provide individualized care in home, school, and community settings. You will receive supervision from licensed staff to support your clinical growth and degree requirements.
What you'll do#
- Learn to use clinical interventions to support youth and families.
- Explore clinical knowledge through evidence-based modalities.
- Strengthen documentation skills and gain experience with electronic medical records.
- Participate as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's degree program or higher in a mental health field.
- A clinical interest in working with children and adolescents.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to pass background and driving record checks.
