About the role#
This internship offers a chance to work with youth and families in a home-based setting. You will help clients identify and reduce challenging behaviors by using individualized plans. The program focuses on behavioral fundamentals to improve a child's daily functioning.
What you'll do#
- Support clients as they work toward their personal goals.
- Provide trauma-informed care to youth.
- Use behavioral interventions in home and community settings.
- Collaborate with Behavioral Monitors to model and coach interventions.
- Create and implement individualized behavior plans for children and families.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Master's in Social Work degree program.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Comfort with technology and electronic systems.
- An active driver's license and daily access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
