About the role#
The Application Lifecycle Management Co-op/Intern works with the Architecture and Applications team to manage the lifecycle of software across the company. You will ensure the governance and integrity of applications throughout their useful life. This role involves collaboration with Corporate IT, Finance, and Security teams to maintain accurate application data and support business needs.
What you'll do#
- Identify and analyze business processes, user requirements, and system requirements to complete the Application Lifecycle Management checklist.
- Complete business criticality scorecards alongside business stakeholders.
- Maintain the data quality of the company-wide application catalogue.
- Coordinate with users and the Architecture Review Board to identify and decommission duplicate or unused applications.
- Contribute to business analysis, implementation, integration, configuration, and testing for applications under the ALM purview.
- Create knowledge-based articles and identify opportunities to improve internal processes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in 3rd year or higher, or recent graduation from a program in Information Systems, MIS, Information Technology, Business Technology Management, Software Development, or a related field.
- Functional experience in business analysis, project management, testing, application support, or application configuration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks based on business needs.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to present information to diverse audiences.
Location & details#
- Term: Winter 2027 (8 or 12 months).
- Modality: Hybrid or Remote. Candidates must be located in the Eastern or Atlantic time zone. If based in Ottawa or Toronto, you are required to work from the office at least three days per week.
- Status: Full-time paid internship.
