About the role#
As a member of the Corporate IT Enterprise Architecture team, you will work with architects, platform owners, and business analysts to improve strategic enterprise platforms. This role offers exposure to CRM, IT service management, workflow automation, and enterprise-scale transformation across various business functions. You will gain practical experience in platform development, data quality, testing, and governance.
What you'll do#
- Build and configure platform enhancements under the guidance of experienced practitioners.
- Develop or modify platform components using low-code and pro-code tools.
- Assist with Salesforce configuration and development, including Flow, Apex, and Lightning Web Components.
- Assist with ServiceNow configuration and development, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer.
- Support API and integration work using REST, JSON, and data mapping.
- Document requirements, process flows, data models, user stories, and technical decisions.
- Analyze and improve platform data quality.
- Create unit-test scenarios and support system and regression testing.
- Use development lifecycle practices such as source control, peer review, and release documentation.
- Support architecture reviews, design workshops, and governance forums.
- Prepare technical documentation, training materials, and dashboards.
- Research platform capabilities, AI features, and emerging technologies.
- Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and improve user experience.
What you'll need#
- Completed 3+ years of study or recently graduated from Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on programming or scripting experience.
- Working knowledge of object-oriented programming, relational data concepts, and software development fundamentals.
- Ability to read, troubleshoot, and make controlled changes to code or scripts.
- Basic understanding of APIs, JSON, authentication, and system integration concepts.
- Familiarity with testing, debugging, version control, and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Comfort collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Initiative, accountability, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Location & details#
- Term: Winter 2027 (8 or 12 months).
- Status: Full-time.
- Compensation: $19.46 - $28.55 hourly.
- Locations: Ottawa or Toronto (hybrid, minimum 3 days in office) or Remote for other Canadian locations.
