About the role#
As a Sales Lead intern, you will support store leadership and act as a representative of the brand. You will focus on delivering personalized customer experiences while guiding and supporting store associates. This role involves collaborating with the Store Manager to learn store operations and preparing to step into management duties when necessary.
What you'll do#
- Model personalized customer experience behaviors and represent the brand.
- Assist store leaders with onboarding and developing an engaged team.
- Support an inclusive store environment where associates feel welcome.
- Provide in-the-moment feedback and coaching to help associates improve customer interactions.
- Build productive relationships by sharing ideas and supporting the team.
- Uphold high visual and operational standards.
- Use technology to stay informed on company priorities and support omnichannel shopping.
What you'll need#
- Technology proficiency and the ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
- Ability to organize, delegate, and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- An interest in communicating and coaching others.
- Initiative in making thoughtful decisions.
- 6 months of retail sales experience is preferred.
- Prior management experience is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, part-time internship located at Christiana Mall in Newark, Delaware.
- The role is paid.
- We are looking for candidates pursuing majors in Business Administration or Marketing.
