About the role#
The Retail Management Internship provides a hands-on leadership experience for students and recent graduates interested in a retail career. You will work alongside store leadership as an Acting Sales Lead, gaining experience in operations, merchandising, and team development. This is a paid, part-time position for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Support business strategy and adjust operations to reach goals.
- Manage the client experience as the Manager On Duty.
- Drive revenue by motivating associates and communicating store metrics.
- Provide coaching to associates during client interactions to improve performance.
- Use reports to make merchandising decisions and maintain visual standards.
- Perform daily store tasks, including opening and closing procedures.
- Assist with recruiting, selecting, and training hourly associates.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a college junior, senior, or recent graduate.
- Ability to organize, delegate, and prioritize assignments to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of visual merchandising techniques.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
