About the role#
As an Intern in the Expert Services practice, you will work with professionals on forensic accounting, valuation, and dispute consulting engagements. You will receive guidance from your team while gaining exposure to real-world business and legal matters. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Support engagement teams in preparing forensic accounting analyses, financial models, and business valuations.
- Research and analyze accounting, financial, and business information.
- Assist with the development and evaluation of damages claims and financial calculations.
- Organize, reconcile, and analyze financial records and large data sets to identify trends.
- Gather information from client-provided materials and research sources.
- Contribute to workpapers, expert reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Review analyses and supporting materials for accuracy, consistency, and quality.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Preferred cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial-statement analysis.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines.
- A collaborative and proactive approach.
