About the role#
Kroll is hiring an intern for the Real Estate Advisory group in Chicago. This role supports our team in providing valuation and consulting services for acquisitions, financial reporting, tax, and strategic planning. You will work on-site as part of a team that helps property owners and investors determine value.
What you'll do#
- Conduct research on industries, markets, and competitors.
- Perform market analysis for local, national, and international properties.
- Build financial models using Excel and Argus, including discounted cash flow, market approach, and cost approach methods.
- Collect data by interviewing brokers and property managers.
- Review economic trends and industry benchmarks.
- Help prepare and present the findings of your analysis.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- A major GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- A graduation date between December 2027 and July 2028.
- Strong skills in critical thinking, data analysis, and communication.
- Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position based in Chicago, Illinois.
- The role is full-time and paid at a rate of $20 to $35 per hour.
- The internship follows a rolling schedule.
