About the role#
La Boussole is offering a full-time, paid internship under the Jeunes au Travail program. This position is designed for students or recent graduates in fields such as Business Administration, Communications, Human Resources, Sociology, or Psychology. You will work directly with our team to support the francophone community in Vancouver, gaining hands-on experience in community project management and social enterprise.
What you'll do#
- Welcome and orient members and visitors to our center.
- Organize community activities and events.
- Create communication materials including posters, social media content, and newsletters.
- Support the ongoing development of the Friperie Éco-Solidaire.
- Contribute to the implementation of new community projects.
What you'll need#
- Mandatory fluency in French and functional knowledge of English.
- Ability to work on-site in Vancouver.
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace is an asset.
- Experience with Canva, Eventbrite, or social media platforms is an asset.
- Prior experience in volunteering, animation, or customer service is considered an advantage.
- Candidates must be between 15 and 30 years old and legally authorized to work in Canada.

- Location: Vancouver, British Columbia.
- Term: Summer 2026 (starting September 14, 2026).
- Duration: 12 weeks.
- Schedule: 30 hours per week.
- Compensation: 18.25 dollars per hour.
