About the role#
This is a four-month internship within the Operational Due Diligence (RDO) team at La Caisse. The team manages investments entrusted to external management firms and works to protect the organization against business, operational, reputational, and fraud risks. This position runs from May to August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Analyze audited financial statements for each fund in our portfolio using our RDO analysis grid to monitor operational risks and identify trends.
- Synthesize annual highlights and findings to draw conclusions from large data sets.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize various tools to support RDO analysis.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing graduate studies in finance or accounting.
- Excellent proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken, as you will regularly work with financial documentation available only in English.
- Strong command of the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Copilot.
- Rigor, analytical skills, autonomy, and the ability to present information clearly to a group.
- Previous internship experience in finance or accounting is an asset.
- Enrollment in the CFA or CPA program is an asset.
- Knowledge of Python is considered an asset.
