About the role#
This Finance Internship provides a practical, hands-on experience within the Finance Department at our world headquarters. You will gain exposure to various business processes while developing your professional acumen and understanding of our business strategy. This role offers the opportunity to interact with senior leadership and other team members across the organization.
What you'll do#
- Support the Finance Department through participation in various projects.
- Gain experience in a variety of different business processes.
- Develop your understanding of La-Z-Boy business strategy.
- Present your accomplishments and provide feedback to leaders and fellow interns at the end of the season.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year Bachelor’s degree program in Finance, with 2-3 years of coursework completed.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with strict confidentiality.
- Availability for travel if required by the role.

- This position is based in Monroe, Michigan.
- The role follows a hybrid work model, with the ability to work remotely two days per week.
- This is a full-time internship.
