About the role#
Lackawanna College is hiring a Work Study student for the Student Wellness Department. This is a part-time position averaging 10 hours per week. You will assist college staff and peers with daily operations and specific department initiatives. Work occurs on-site in Scranton, PA, between 8am and 4pm.
What you'll do#
- File and organize Student Wellness inventory and storage spaces.
- Design, post, and remove flyers and promotional materials for events.
- Assist with program planning and execution.
- Beta test department technologies such as surveys.
- Prepare materials for upcoming events.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by the Director or Coordinator.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at Lackawanna College.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality according to FERPA regulations.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Skill in organizing, prioritizing, and maintaining office records.
- High attention to detail.

- Location: Scranton, Pennsylvania.
- Pay: $13.00 per hour.
- Schedule: 10 hours per week, typically between 8am and 4pm.
