About the role#
Lackawanna College is hiring a Work Study student for the Financial Services Department. You will support college staff and peers with daily office tasks and specific projects to ensure coverage for the department. This is a part-time position averaging 10 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Manage general administrative tasks including filing and organization.
- Type documents and take notes during meetings.
- Answer phones and record messages.
- Prepare mailings and event materials.
- Supervise the front desk.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Lackawanna College.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Skills to organize, prioritize, and maintain office records.
- Proficient interpersonal communication skills.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with FERPA (34 CFR Part 99).

- Location: Scranton, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 10 hours per week between 8am and 4pm.
- Pay: $13.00 per hour.
