About the role#
The Member Relations Communications Intern joins the Member Governance and Shared Services team to support engagement initiatives for our member-owners. You will work on projects that help our cooperative connect with and empower its members.
What you'll do#
- Research industry best practices for member-facing and customer-facing websites.
- Evaluate the user experience of the Land O'Lakes member site.
- Identify and implement updates to content, design, and navigation to improve member engagement.
- Assist with communications projects including content development, member email campaigns, and training promotion.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- At least sophomore standing.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship located in Arden Hills, Minnesota.
- The position runs from May 2027 through July 2027.
- The role is paid at $23 per hour.
