About the role#
The Legal and Compliance Intern supports the RPM Legal team with operational initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience with legal processes such as corporate governance, contract management, and process optimization. This role involves assisting in-house counsel with general litigation, contract drafting, employment law, data privacy, and records management.
What you'll do#
- Support in-house lawyers with legal and regulatory matters for a publicly traded multinational company.
- Manage and organize various filing systems.
- Create and maintain attorney-client files.
- Collaborate with business professionals and attorneys.
- Perform other related business duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Juris Doctor degree.
- A background in Business Administration, Political Science, or Philosophy.
- An analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- The ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship based in Medina, Ohio.
- The term is rolling.
- Work hours and days are flexible to accommodate your class schedule.
