About the role#
Join our team in Menomonee Falls as a Mechanical Engineering Intern for the summer of 2027. This paid, full-time program offers at least 10 weeks of hands-on experience in an engineering development environment. You will work closely with our staff to support various projects, gain insight into our engineering methods, and receive guidance from an assigned mentor.
What you'll do#
- Follow basic work instructions to learn company fundamentals.
- Conduct limited scope testing under the supervision of engineers.
- Gather and assemble data for engineering projects.
- Assist with research in your functional area.
- Perform design analysis and calculations.
- Help engineers with specific design details.
- Take on a wide variety of tasks to learn about our staff, programs, and practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university, making progress toward an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering.
- A grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- A diligent, hardworking, and quick-to-learn attitude.
- Basic knowledge of engineering tools relevant to the discipline.
- Preference is given to students entering their junior or senior year.
- Knowledge of 3-phase power systems, power electronics, control systems, switchgear, motors, mg sets, electronics packaging, or energy conversion is a plus.

- Schedule: Eligible for the 9/80 schedule, which includes every other Friday off.
