About the role#
Lipscomb Academy is hiring a Group Fitness Instructor for a student worker position. This role is open to current Lipscomb University students. You will lead fitness sessions and help build a healthy environment on campus.
What you'll do#
- Teach various types of fitness classes.
- Engage with students during fitness activities.
- Maintain a safe and supportive space for all participants.
- Assist in promoting fitness classes to the student body.
What you'll need#
- A certification in fitness instruction or high levels of experience in your area of expertise. If you do not have a certification, you may obtain one through the Campus Recreation department training.
- A commitment to teach at least two classes per week.
- If you introduce a new style of class, you must complete a one semester trial period before the class can be taught more than once.

- Location: Nashville, Tennessee.
- This is a paid, on-site position.
- We are accepting applications on a rolling basis.
- Preferred majors include Kinesiology, Health Administration, Public Health, Nursing, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, and Nutrition.
