About the role#
As a Pharmacy Student at Loblaw Companies Limited, you will work under the supervision of a pharmacist to provide patient care and support pharmacy operations. This role focuses on medication dispensing, professional services, and maintaining inventory to meet patient needs.
What you'll do#
- Support pharmacy operations, including greeting customers and processing prescription orders.
- Handle prescription filling and non-sterile compounding when required.
- Manage cash register duties and book customer appointments for professional services.
- Resolve patient needs and doctor requests in a timely manner.
- Maintain inventory levels by ordering from wholesalers, receiving orders, and processing returns or recalls.
- Follow pharmacy standards to ensure safe and accurate medication dispensing.
What you'll need#
- You are currently in your 4th year of a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree or equivalent.
- You have no cautions or findings that limit your ability to practice pharmacy.
- You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
- You have experience formulating and executing action plans to solve problems.
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite is required. Experience with the HealthWatch Pharmacy Computer system is an asset.

- This position is located at 400 Conestoga Blvd, Cambridge, Ontario.
- This is a full-time, on-site role.
- The internship term is rolling.
