About the role#
This position offers practical training for pharmacy students within a community retail setting. You will gain exposure to the daily operations of a pharmacy and prepare for a career in the field. This is a part-time, on-site role located in Brampton, Ontario.
What you'll do#
- Learn the skills required to manage a retail pharmacy.
- Gain hands-on training to supplement your academic studies.
- Develop your knowledge of over-the-counter products and patient counseling techniques.
- Assist with patient care, including MEDSCHECK services under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
- Practice communicating with patients, pharmacy staff, and other health care professionals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a program such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nursing, Public Health, or Health Administration.
- An interest in disease state management and drug therapy.
- Ability to work in a community pharmacy environment.
- Candidates aged 18 or older must complete a criminal background check.

- Location: 85 Steeles Ave W, Brampton, ON.
- Schedule: Part-time, day shifts.
- Compensation: $18.60 to $19.55 per hour.
- Employment Status: This is a unionized position.
