About the role#
We provide practical experience for pharmacy students in a community setting. This role is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real world pharmacy practice. You will work within our retail pharmacy environment to gain hands-on training and prepare for a career as a pharmacist.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to pharmacy practice in a community setting.
- Improve your communication skills by interacting with patients, pharmacy staff, and other health care professionals.
- Expand your knowledge of OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, and patient counseling.
- Learn the skills required to manage a retail pharmacy operation.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current Pharmacy student.
- Candidates must be 18 years or older.
- Completion of a criminal background check is required.
