About the role#
Lonza is hiring interns for the Summer 2027 program at our Greenwood, South Carolina campus. This is a full-time, paid internship running from May 17, 2027, to July 30, 2027. Opportunities are available in Engineering, Research and Development, and Quality departments. We provide a housing stipend and coordinate housing through a local university.
What you'll do#
- Complete daily tasks and project goals within your assigned department.
- Update site documentation to ensure compliance.
- Participate in professional workshops and career development classes.
- Engage in internship socials and networking events.
- Attend a leadership roundtable with senior staff.
- Shadow team members or rotate through other departments to gain exposure to different areas of the business.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time student in a Bachelor's degree program.
- Status as a rising Junior or Senior.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher with no academic or correction action on record.
- Proficiency in fields such as Chemical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, Business Administration, Finance, or Mathematics.
- Strong research, analytical, and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and organizational communication abilities.
- Ability to work well in a team and interact with individuals at all levels of the company.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
