About the role#
This 11-week internship provides hands-on experience managing travel centers. You will work alongside store leaders to learn about food service, fuel, and truck care operations. The program focuses on building your business skills and leadership abilities in a professional setting.
What you'll do#
- Participate in training across store, fuel, food, and truck care operations.
- Learn to drive sales, manage costs, and support store profitability.
- Develop skills in team leadership, staffing, and employee development.
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and operational standards.
- Deliver customer service and resolve issues as they arise.
- Help enforce safety, compliance, and company policies.
- Collaborate on a project with other interns and department leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2- or 4-year degree program.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Comfort interacting with customers and team members.
- Ability to use various computer programs and technology tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move around the facility to perform duties.
