About the role#
The Reliability Engineering Intern role offers practical experience in a real-world manufacturing setting. You will apply your engineering knowledge to support production, design, and company projects. This internship provides exposure to various engineering functions while you work alongside experienced teams.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan, design, and execute engineering projects.
- Provide technical support to team members through troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
- Maintain accurate documentation, project logs, and reports.
- Conduct research on engineering topics and analyze data to support project goals.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe workspace.
- Manage the maintenance of Routing and Bills of Material files.
- Develop procedures and training for new processes, tools, and equipment.
- Evaluate project needs, develop plans, and manage implementation.
- Coordinate technical drawings and provide product information to support sales and customers.
- Collect and analyze data to resolve customer issues and drive improvements.
- Conduct quality system audits and assist other departments with quality-related tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or recent graduation from a Bachelor degree program in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong academic record with relevant coursework.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational habits.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Knowledge of standard manufacturing processes, welding, or 2D/3D modeling is helpful.
- Experience with measurement systems like Maynard Operation Sequence Technique (MOST) is a plus.
- Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and electronic meters.
