About the role#
The 2027 Commercial Credit Analyst Program is a full-time, 10-month development program designed to prepare early-career professionals for roles in commercial and corporate credit. You will participate in a structured curriculum that combines formal instructor-led training with on-the-job assignments. Throughout the program, you will gain exposure to different areas of the bank, including commercial and industrial banking, commercial real estate, and leveraged finance. Upon successful completion, you will be placed into a Commercial Credit Analyst role.
What you'll do#
- Complete a formal training program that includes instructor-led sessions and on-the-job assignments.
- Review and analyze financial statements, cash flow, leverage, liquidity, and capital structures.
- Prepare comprehensive credit memoranda for new originations and renewals.
- Monitor assigned loan portfolios for credit quality and covenant compliance.
- Participate in due diligence calls, management meetings, and underwriting discussions.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong financial statement analysis and accounting fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Professional curiosity and a desire to build a career in credit risk.
