About the role#
MACOM is hiring a Reliability Engineer Intern to support product qualification testing for semiconductor circuits. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role based in Lowell, Massachusetts.
What you'll do#
- Identify and prepare samples for testing.
- Build test fixtures and circuit boards, including mechanical assembly and soldering.
- Take DC and RF electrical measurements.
- Run qualification and reliability tests.
- Analyze measurement data statistically.
- Assist with failure analysis and report your findings with recommendations for improvement.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Electrical, Computer, or Mechanical Engineering program.
- Experience with test fixture and circuit board development.
- Skills in mechanical assembly and soldering.
- Proficiency in making DC and RF electrical measurements.
- Ability to perform statistical analysis on test results.
