About the role#
Magnet Media is looking for a Social Media Intern to join our team for the Fall 2026 term. This is an on-site role based in New York. You will work closely with the SVP of marketing to support our digital marketing efforts, research, and event coordination. This internship is paid, and you must be eligible to receive college credit for your work.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns.
- Create and curate content for social media platforms.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform our strategies.
- Support the coordination of events, webinars, and other marketing initiatives.
- Track and analyze campaign performance using marketing analytics tools.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to develop marketing collateral.
- Contribute creative ideas during brainstorming sessions.
- Help maintain and update the company website and social media pages.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program for Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Google Suite, including Docs, Slides, and Sheets.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is a plus.
- Experience with social media platforms and an interest in industry trends.
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools like Google Analytics or SEO.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
