About the role#
This internship and co-op program offers students a chance to apply engineering principles to aerospace and defense projects. You will work alongside industry experts to gain hands-on experience with systems engineering management plans, requirements management, and simulation models. You will also receive mentorship and have the opportunity to present your work to senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and perform control system simulations and modeling using MATLAB.
- Manage requirements using IBM DOORS.
- Complete SDRLs and other documentation related to system modeling and plans.
- Review and comment on engineering SDRLs to ensure accuracy.
- Communicate technical and schedule issues to the appropriate team members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering program.
- Experience with Matlab Simulink modeling and simulation.
- Strong academic performance in core engineering courses.
- U.S. Citizenship is required for this role.
