About the role#
This internship at the Neenah Mill provides hands-on exposure to manufacturing operations. You will work within a multi-functional team to support real-time production, process improvements, and project deliverables. This role starts in May 2026 and lasts for 10 weeks.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the Technical and Operations teams on process efficiency, cost savings, and technology projects.
- Identify paper defects and participate in new customer trials.
- Collaborate with leadership to update or create standard operating procedures.
- Attend leadership meetings to report on progress and complete assigned tasks.
- Execute specific project work as directed by mill management.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or Paper Science.
- Completion of at least one full year of coursework, though two years is preferred.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA in your field of study.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically in Excel.
- Ability to analyze data, synthesize findings, and communicate clearly.
- A collaborative mindset and a drive to learn.

- Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour, based on experience.
