About the role#
Commercial Strategy and Innovation is seeking a Communications Intern for Summer 2027. This 10-week, full-time program provides hands-on experience in corporate communications within the healthcare technology sector. You will gain exposure to subject matter experts, participate in networking opportunities, and receive structured performance coaching.
What you'll do#
- Draft, edit, and proofread various materials including internal announcements, press releases, website content, and presentations.
- Support the planning and execution of internal and external communication campaigns and events.
- Research industry trends, competitor activities, and media coverage to inform strategy.
- Manage and update content on internal platforms and external digital channels.
- Collaborate with departments to gather information and ensure consistent messaging.
- Assist with media monitoring and provide general administrative support to the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date of Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Strong command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems is preferred, as is prior internship experience.

- This is a paid, on-site internship.
- Positions are located in Irving, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; or Richmond, Virginia.
