About the role#
MegazoneCloud US is seeking a Software Engineer Co-op to join our team. You will work alongside senior engineers and our U.S. tech group to build software solutions. This role involves direct participation in technical discovery and client-facing projects. We look for individuals who want to take ownership of their work and contribute to our technical roadmap.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with senior engineers to turn business requirements into functional software features.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions using languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or Go.
- Participate in technical discussions and meetings with clients.
- Communicate project progress, including updates on tickets and deliverables.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure, applications, and services.
- Implement monitoring solutions and DevOps practices like CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
- Join design reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions to support team growth.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language and a grasp of scripting fundamentals.
- Interest in major cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and modern data ecosystems.
- Foundational knowledge of DevOps, including version control and automation.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to different audiences.
- A builder mindset and the agility to manage multiple tasks.
- Previous experience in a consulting or professional services environment is preferred.
- Experience with GenAI, MLOps, or data tools is a plus.
- Relevant cloud certifications are a bonus.
