About the role#
This is an 11-week internship program for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to gain a broad understanding of retail operations. The program focuses on real projects that impact our customers and team members. You will interact with other interns and senior leaders while building your professional skillset.
What you'll do#
- Lead a project that impacts the customer or team member experience.
- Develop your research, leadership, and presentation abilities.
- Deliver a final presentation to senior executives.
- Gain exposure to store operations, store support training, and store fulfillment.
- Participate in professional development, training, and executive speaker series.
- Attend networking and community events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an academic degree program, specifically working toward a Bachelor degree in Management, Operations, or a related field.
- A strong interest in a retail career.
- Drive for results and a focus on customer needs.
- A digital mindset, including experience with devices, applications, and analytics.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Prior experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
- Previous leadership experience in work or extracurricular activities is preferred.
