    About the role#

    Mid-Ohio Food Collective is seeking an Accounting & Finance Intern to support our financial operations in Grove City, Ohio. You will work alongside our team to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit financial management. This role involves a variety of tasks that contribute to our daily financial health and organizational mission.

    What you'll do#

    • Support financial operations within the department.
    • Process donations to ensure accurate funding records.
    • Assist with payables.
    • Perform reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
    • Create and generate financial reports to provide insights into our activities.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
    • A major in Accounting or Finance.
    • A solid foundation in accounting principles.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
    • Attention to detail and effective communication skills.
    • A customer-centric mindset.

    Location & details#

    • This position is located on-site in Grove City, Ohio.
    • The internship is a paid, part-time role.
    • We require a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week during the school year.
    • This is a rolling term position.
