About the role#
The Real Estate Development Intern position is an 8-12 week program based in Indianapolis. You will work with Vice Presidents, Directors, and Managers to support development activities. This role involves researching and analyzing markets, assisting with internal project reviews, and collaborating with departments like Finance, Construction, and Property Management.
What you'll do#
- Support executive development staff with daily operations.
- Gather and analyze data to update market reports for current and future projects.
- Research property ownership, local trends, pricing, occupancy, costs, and utility information.
- Complete historical cost analyses with the finance department to finalize project costs.
- Shop comparable properties through online research, phone calls, and site visits.
- Compile information for client and owner reports.
- Ensure client service remains consistent with the Milhaus brand.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Architecture, or Urban Planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Adobe Creative Suite, and Google Sketch-Up.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem analysis skills.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and planning abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks across various projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

- This is an on-site internship located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
- The term for this position is Summer 2027.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
