    About the role#

    The Capital Markets Intern supports the team in raising capital and managing investor relations for multifamily real estate projects. You will help secure funding for developments through equity investors and debt financing. This role involves working with a large network of institutional and high net worth investors.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with research, analysis, and communications regarding debt and equity partners.
    • Manage databases and support investor or lender outreach efforts.
    • Coordinate documents and financial models across various projects.
    • Build reporting templates and checklists.
    • Create client presentation decks.
    • Support periodic investor reporting and respond to specific investor requests.
    • Conduct research to identify potential new investor and lender relationships.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a bachelors or masters degree program.
    • Demonstrated interest or experience in commercial real estate.
    • Proficiency with software products like MS Office.
    • Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
    • Skill in reading, analyzing, and interpreting financial, legal, and technical documents.
    • Ability to write reports, proposals, and correspondence.
    • Strong communication skills to present information and respond to inquiries.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
