    About the role#

    Join MiniMed for a summer internship where you will do hands-on work and contribute to our mission of supporting people living with diabetes. You will join a collaborative intern community, build your professional network, and gain exposure to projects that help you grow personally and professionally. This is a paid, full-time position lasting 10 to 11 weeks.

    What you'll do#

    As an Operations Engineering Intern, you will work within our manufacturing and process engineering groups. Your responsibilities include:

    • Designing manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment, and material handling.
    • Arranging machines within plant facilities to ensure an efficient and productive layout.
    • Providing technical and sustaining engineering support in a manufacturing area.
    • Recommending and implementing equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies and yields.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program for Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
    • An anticipated graduation date of Winter 2027, Spring 2028, Winter 2028, or Spring 2029.
    • Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week, for the duration of the program.
    • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Northridge, California.
    • Modality: On-site, with an expectation to be in the office at least 3 days per week.
    • Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week) from June 1 through August 13 for semester programs or June 14 through August 20 for quarter programs.
