About the role#
Alcon is hiring Supply Chain and Logistics Interns for our Summer 2027 program. This is a full-time, paid opportunity based on-site in either Fort Worth, Texas, or Johns Creek, Georgia. You will work on real projects, build technical skills, and collaborate with professionals across our organization.
What you'll do#
- Analyze transportation, freight, and carrier-performance data to find cost savings and service improvements.
- Create logistics dashboards, KPI reports, and operational scorecards to support planning and distribution decisions.
- Assist with demand and supply planning, inventory performance, master-data governance, and new-product launches.
- Help with warehouse modernization, network optimization, transportation procurement, and carrier-management projects.
- Automate supply-chain planning workflows using analytics, AI, or machine learning.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited university for at least one semester before and after the internship.
- Pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8/4.0.
- Ability to commit to a 10 to 12-week, full-time (40 hours per week) schedule.
