    About the role#

    Join MiniMed for a 10-11 week summer internship where you will gain hands-on experience and contribute to our mission of supporting people living with diabetes. You will work in a full-time, paid position as part of a collaborative intern community. This role offers exposure to professional networking and development opportunities.

    What you'll do#

    Interns support various engineering areas based on business needs. Your responsibilities may include:

    • Design, develop, analyze, and troubleshoot research and product development projects.
    • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation for systems.
    • Research, develop, and test electrical components, equipment, and systems.
    • Ensure biomedical equipment complies with regulatory requirements and quality control standards.
    • Design and validate mechanical or electromechanical products and systems.

    What you'll need#

    • Working toward a bachelor's or master's degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Computer Engineering.
    • An anticipated graduation date of Winter 2027, Spring 2028, Winter 2028, or Spring 2029.
    • A minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 cumulative GPA.
    • Current authorization to work in the United States. Please note that MiniMed does not provide visa sponsorship for internship positions.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Northridge, California.
    • Work Modality: Hybrid. Interns are expected to work onsite a minimum of 3 days per week.
    • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
    • Compensation: Pay ranges from $26.50 to $45.25 per hour, determined by the position and years of school completed.
