About the role#
MNP is hiring an Intern or Co-op Student for the Assurance and Accounting team for the Winter 2027 term. You will work with a team of professionals to provide financial information and advisory services to clients. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site.
What you'll do#
- Build technical skills in compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping, and tax.
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in financial entries and reports.
- Conduct walk-throughs for accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and capital asset transactions.
- Work directly with the client engagement team and maintain relationships with client contacts.
What you'll need#
- You are working towards a bachelor degree in commerce or business administration, with a preference for accounting or finance majors.
- You are working towards the prerequisites for the CPA Professional Education Program.
- Previous office experience in accounting is an asset.
- Experience in customer or client service is helpful.
- Familiarity with accounting and tax software is considered an asset.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in Surrey, Langley, or Port Moody, British Columbia.
- The position starts in January 2027.
- The annual salary range is $45,000 to $55,000.
