About the role#
This position supports the electrical labs team at Mohawk Valley Community College. You will work under the supervision of a lab assistant to maintain the functionality and organization of the lab spaces.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and install lab equipment and supplies for student and faculty use.
- Assist staff with daily lab operations.
- Re-stock electronic components.
- Perform basic testing and identify problems in lab test and training equipment.
- Configure lab facilities, including the installation of new equipment and fixtures.
- Help instructors in electrical labs.
- Complete general office tasks such as mail delivery and pickup.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student.
- Ability to work under supervision.
- Availability to work up to 20 hours per week.
