About the role#
We are looking for an R&D Engineering Intern to join our team in Yankton, South Dakota. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers a practical look at how we build electronic components. You will work on-site, supporting our engineering team with the design, testing, and assembly of prototype systems and specialized equipment.
What you'll do#
- Support the design, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems and experimental circuitry.
- Perform testing, check-out, and troubleshooting based on schematics, diagrams, and defined plans.
- Run operational tests and isolate faults in equipment.
- Help determine methods to fix malfunctions.
- Assist in the construction and testing of new test equipment.
- Use diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other specialized test apparatus.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- You must have completed your sophomore year of coursework.
- This position requires access to information subject to export control regulations. You must qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by federal law.
