About the role#
Vishay Thin Film is seeking a 1st shift Engineering Intern or Co-op for the Fall 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Niagara Falls, New York. Please note that this role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information, so applicants must qualify as U.S. Persons under federal law.
What you'll do#
- Support department leaders, supervisors, and engineers with ongoing initiatives.
- Assist with the capital equipment investment process, including factory acceptance testing.
- Complete assigned projects and deliver a final engineering summary report or presentation.
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2-4 year degree program for Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- A self-motivated approach and a willingness to learn.
