About the role#
The Trial Associate Program (TAP) is a summer experience for law students interested in becoming trial attorneys. You will work directly with experienced trial lawyers to gain hands-on experience and build a foundation for a career in litigation. The program includes 1:1 mentorship with a firm partner and access to firm leadership.
What you'll do#
- Learn from trial attorneys in a team environment.
- Receive mentorship on client service and trial preparation.
- Attend weekly training courses on topics like depositions, motion practice, expert discovery, mediation, and trial prep.
- Participate in learning and development courses and professional networking.
- Attend a jury trial during your summer.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a top law school with an anticipated graduation year of 2028.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A commitment to quality client service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated interest in trial advocacy.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid summer internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is on-site in the United States.
- Weekly compensation ranges from $1,900 to $2,800 depending on the geographic market.
