About the role#
The Trial Associate Program (TAP) at Morgan & Morgan is a summer opportunity for law students to build skills in trial advocacy. You will work alongside experienced trial attorneys to gain practical experience. The program aims to prepare participants for a career as a trial lawyer through hands-on work and professional development.
What you'll do#
- Learn from trial attorneys in a team environment.
- Receive mentorship on best practices for client service.
- Prepare for trial through guided training.
- Attend a jury trial during your summer.
- Participate in civil jury trials.
- Complete litigation training courses covering topics such as depositions, motion practice, expert discovery, and mediation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment at a top law school with an anticipated graduation in 2028.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A commitment to high-quality client service.
- A demonstrated interest in trial advocacy.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Location: United States (On-site).
- Compensation: $1,900 to $2,800 per week, depending on the geographic market.
- This is a full-time, paid position.
