About the role#
The Management and Sales Internship is a paid, 10-12-week summer program. It offers hands-on experience in our retail stores, providing insight into management, sales, and store operations. You will gain exposure to business-to-business and retail environments, travel with a Sales Representative, and work closely with your management team. Interns also complete a project that addresses critical business issues alongside peers.
What you'll do#
- Provide friendly, professional customer service and help resolve concerns.
- Maintain product displays and assist customers with recommendations.
- Develop product knowledge and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Restock shelves and support inventory management.
- Assist with point-of-sale transactions and product mixing.
- Perform general store maintenance.
- Help with unloading deliveries and organizing stockrooms.
- Participate in training sessions and adhere to store policies.
- Collaborate on a team-based project addressing business challenges.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be a rising or current Junior or Senior in a college or university.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
- Willingness to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
- At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
- Experience working in a team-oriented setting.
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
- If internal, must have a meets expectations rating on your most recent performance appraisal and have completed all required HR Cloud eLearning courses.
