About the role#
The Management and Sales Summer Internship is a paid 10-12 week program. It offers hands-on experience in our retail stores, providing insight into management, sales, and store operations. You will work in a paint store to gain practical business-to-business and retail experience. Interns spend time with a Sales Representative to learn about outside sales and collaborate with peers on a project that addresses a real business challenge. This program is for current college students, not graduates.
What you'll do#
- Provide friendly and professional assistance to customers in-store and over the phone.
- Maintain product displays and contribute to sales goals.
- Assist with point-of-sale transactions and product mixing.
- Support inventory management and visual merchandising efforts.
- Participate in a team-based project that addresses a real business challenge.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be enrolled in a college or university at the time of the internship.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion.
- Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
- At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Logistics, or Operations Management.
