About the role#
As a Student Food Services or Catering Worker, you will support campus dining operations by preparing food, maintaining service stations, and assisting customers. This is an on-site, paid position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and assemble food items using standardized recipes.
- Set up and break down workstations, including prep tables and service counters.
- Clean and sanitize work areas to meet safety standards.
- Serve food to customers and replenish stock levels as needed.
- Maintain a positive demeanor and provide helpful service to guests and co-workers.
- Follow all company safety and sanitation policies.
- Protect and ensure the security of company assets.
What you'll need#
- Ability to demonstrate guest service skills.
- Willingness to obtain a food safety certification.
- Prior food service experience is helpful but not required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to wear a uniform or required personal protective equipment.
